Service Description
In this session, you will learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing and create functional vessels on an electric spinning wheel. Suitable for beginner adults and children 11 years and above. Unlimited clay to practice with. Tools and materials included. Course Fee: 1 x 2hour session for $52 5 x 2hour sessions for $190 (Short Course) 10x2hour sessions for $380 (Extensive Course) For multiple sessions, please select the course plan of your choice at the payment page Participants can choose to have additional creations fired and glazed @$12/piece. Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to: -Appreciate and understand the various stages of ceramics making. -Understand and apply wheel throwing techniques in the construction of a ceramic object Students taking part in the course will get 2 free glaze fired pieces of their choice and choose to paint their own pots. Glazed fired pieces are food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe. Glazed fired works will be ready for collection within 4-6 weeks after session. Aprons will not be provided but you can bring your own Apron if you have one!
